The critical role of sport in fostering creative and innovative solutions to current societal challenges in Europe, and in driving positive social change is widely recognized and acknowledged, linking youth and sport programmes as an integral part of development priorities. Sports is particularly key to youth development. Physical education, physical activity, and sport, in general, contribute to the development of soft skills and impart values such as teamwork, solidarity, and respect, all of which are crucial to building peaceful and cohesive societies.
Therefore, it is highly important that sport organizations join the initiatives to foster a sense of social inclusion and integration through sport, particularly for marginalised groups, having in mind that it is clear that from the economic perspective sport is one sector that can certainly contribute to the overall goals supporting the path Towards Sustainable Europe by 2030, sustainable and inclusive growth. Beside this economic dimension, it is also necessary to acknowledge the impact of sport in other key areas for the European Union such as social inclusion or healthy lifestyle. One of the Guiding Objectives of the European Work Plan for Sport 2021-2024 is to strengthen the recovery and the crisis resilience of the sport sector during and in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic,
which we also tackle with this project.
Objectives:

– To create a network of football clubs, sport related organizations and stakeholders that would contribute to the creation of socially responsible and sustainable system of career investment and support of young sportspersons with fewer opportunities;
– To sensitize managers, trainers and staff in football towards social inclusion and to bring closer youth, youth workers and stakeholders in sport through targeted activities;
– To create, introduce, promote and improve the system of financing and support for future champions
