Sandra Sremčević is the first woman in the history of Serbian football, who was elected to the position of Vice-president of the Football Association of Serbia (February 2023). As she herself said after the election, it is a big step for women’s football in Serbia. Women’s football is in noticeable development, more and more girls decide to train the most popular sport in the world. Therefore, it is important to have a woman representative in the largest football organization in Serbia.
Sandra also became a member of Women’s Football Committee (WFC) which is an important part of the European Club Association (ECA).
She was born in 1974 in Belgrade, Serbia. She is a graphic designer by formal education, and she also studied political sciences. For more than 20 years Sandra Sremčević worked as a chief of staff in large telecommunication companies, at the bank and at the University. She’s been engaged in entrepreneurship in recent years. She lives in Belgrade, she is married and a mother.
Sandra Sremčević is the president of the Red Star Women’s Football Club since 2020 that works under the larger Red Star football family.
